Chapter 13

1. You create a text box, go to horizontal type tool, then drag with the mouse to create the text box. To accept the text within the box, click enter or got to the selection tool.

2. What happens when you hold all the modifier keys (crtl+alt+shift) is it puts a cursor right in the middle to start typing.

3. Auto open panels show is when you first create your text, the character in auto panels will pop up.

4. Leading gets its name from an old printers technique where they would insert pieces of lead between type stamps so they would spread out the lines of text.

5. Tracking is essentially the space between all the characters on a line.

6. To animate text, go to the panel with the color selection tool. It has 2 squares, you are able to select different colors. You can outline the image or have a different color. You can increase the size of the fill with the stroke. You are able to adjust the text by making the text capitalized or lower case. Also you are able to click the animate button to adjust the image. You can make the image rather big.

7. What the wiggly selector does is the text fades in and out.

8. You get to text animation presets by going to file+browse, then click on presets, then open up the text folder.

9. U shows you all key frames. UU shows you all changed properties.

10. To display safe zones, you need to go to the target aim button, click it, then title action safe.
